Full Automatic Arc Melting Furnace
Dr YOKOYAMA Yoshihiko, Institute for Material Research, Tohoku University, and his colleague developed the technologies on automatic turnaround, and such technologies were transferred to DIAVAC LIMTED (DIAVAC) and then successfully commercialized by DIAVAC as “Automatic Arc Melting Furnace” and “Compact Arc Melting Furnace”, respectively.
“Automatic Arc Melting Furnace” is a fully-automated instrument with automatic sample reversal, and can perform melting process under designated condition of the number of reversal. In addition, this instrument could perform simultaneous melting of up to 30 samples with 30mm size in diameter, and reaction condition including melting pattern, the number of melting and melting place can be set smoothly on touch panel.
“Compact Arc Melting Furnace” has arc control function enable to generate arc force with sine-wave pattern for obtaining sufficient stirring power.
