BONE RESORPTION ASSAY KIT

Dr. Osamu Suzuki, a professor in Division of Craniofacial Function Engineering, Tohoku University Graduate School of Dentistry, conducted joint research with PG Research Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “PG Research”) on bone metabolism which is known as one of the causes of certain bone diseases. Based on the results obtained in joint research above, PG Research developed and then launched BONE RESORPTION ASSAY KIT (Hereinafter “PRODUCT”). This PRODUCT is a kit that provides simplified methods for evaluation of bone resorption activity using fluorescein-labeled calcium phosphate solid layer plate. Bone resorption activity is rapidly observed by measuring the fluorescein signals from the supernatant of the medium in which Osteoclasts are cultured on fluorescein-labeled chondroitin sulfate (FACS) combined with calcium phosphate.
